acoustic guitar songs for beginners sheet music image
Katie Muir
I am just learning how to play the acoustic guitar. I really like the song Under the Milky Way by the Church and I would love to learn it. It is such a beautiful song and I think I will really enjoy learning how to play it. But I can't find easy to follow and understand sheet music for the guitar. Does anyone know the cords or a website that I can find the sheet music on for free?

Any good basic guitar songs for beginners?
I have started playing acoustic guitar recently and am wondering if there is any basic guitar songs I could learn. Preferably alternative rock songs that sound good acoustic and are pretty easy for strumming. And also, what is the more recommended instrument to play, bass or electric. I am not musically talented at all xD but want 2 get into something.

Whole Lotta Love by Led Zepplin. Its a third fret, with first finger on the second string from the top, the second finger on the 3rd string( 3rd fret) do it seven times the stroke that is......then the bottom 3 strings, at the third fret....the small finger at the bottom(E) and the middle finger to the 4th fret on the second from the bottom string...then the middle finger on the 3rd string from the bottom, on the third fret.; do this for 3 strokes...back and forth.....then repeat from the seven top strokes...back down to the 3 strokes...keep doing it....this is a basic thing that leads to more than like 20 songs from the 60's-70's the topic song ...its a 1969 song.
Ramble On from Led Zepplin is really close to this first song...get some music sheets at the store..or get an instructor thats into the 60-70-80 etc...they all know some easy songs...in the first class you will probally learn 3 songs in 1/2 hour...then practice untill you get good finger coordnation..
Communication Breakdown is just like the first two songs, in that, they are some basic cords with just 3-4 changes in the basic cords in the songs.
when you get to the point that you stop breaking strings...you know you are really getting better..besides knowing about 10 basic cords.
Pay for a 1/2 hour class.....to see if you like it..if you do...the power from an electric guitar is very moving...especially with effects-foot switches...you can play Whole Lotta Love with a Jimi Hendrix foot switch....its great and overpowering....
It cost about 100 for an electric...and 120 for an amp with some overdrive...and 120 for a Hendrix foot switch..that had about 21 different settings....2 settings are the ones that you can play some really different songs like the "Star Spangle Banner." THis is advanced of course...
