cheap tanglewood acoustic guitars image

I am a guitar self learner. At the moment, I am still a beginner. However I would like to get a guitar to continue my learning. I have done some researches online and come out with some options like Charsley Festival Folk Cutaway Acoustic Guitar and Fullsize Acoustic Guitar Martin Smith W400. Which one of these is better? or any other brand to recommend?
Answer
At that end of the market its best to look into the Yamaha, Tanglewood ranges. It probably isn't worth buying a guitar like those charsley ones for £50, better to save up and get something between £100-£250. Have a look on sites such as Dolphin music, dv-247 and thomann. I've noticed thomann have a lot of very cheap Harley Benton guitars if your not convinced on spending anymore.

Is the slim lindo electro-acoustic guitar good?
Q. I am an intermediate electric guitar player but I have been using my sisters tanglewood electro-acoustic and I'm looking to get an acoustic for myself. I saw a slim lindo one on amazon for a reasonable price but I was wondering if the whole 'slim' thing will make it sound bad. I really like it in matt black too. If it is not good can you please suggest some other electro-acoustics (preferably matt black but not necessarily) for £150 or less, thanks!
Answer
slim acoustic electric guitars are usually made more for playing thru an amp or system. You usually wont get as good of an unplugged sound with a slim but there are maybe a few out there. And also, don't order one unless you've played the same model in person or are able to send it back and get a full refund. As far as suggestions, You should just go to a local guitar shop and try out some that are in your price range, i would advise you to look for a guitar with a "solid top" though (there are some cheap fenders with solid tops). But everyone has different taste...hope this helped.
