best acoustic guitar microphone image

We want to record acoustic guitar music using Audacity. A dynamic microphone is working pretty well for vocals, but the guitar doesn't sound good. The only equipment we have is the microphone, mic stand, and a Dean Markley pickup. Any ideas of how to get a better sound?

has it got a hole for a 6.5mm cable?
if so you can plug it to the guitar and in the other end plug an adapter female 6.5mm, male 3.5mm(like a headphone or microphone jack) i that you plug it into the line in or the microphone hole in your computer

What is a good microphone for recording an acoustic guitar and voice onto the PC?

I play acoustic guitar and sing and I want to buy a good microphone for recording myself. I'm not looking to make anything professional, just recordings for myself and to share with friends. I've tried using a regular desktop mic but it's not sensitive enough and usually cancels out the guitar when I'm singing. I want to record directly onto my computer.
specific product names or links to the products on websites would really help! thanks

get a shure 58a beta, its a great vocal mic and can be used for the guitar. about $100 or if you dont want to spend that much get a Shure PE588 Dynamic Microphone PE 588 about $50 ...Ok if you dont want to spend that much then just get a cheap dynamic mic off ebay but you may be frustrated and disappointed with the result. Cheap mics have a tendency to sound like you recorded through a tin can or have muffled boomy bass. So try to get a decent dynamic mic used.
Good luck with recording
