Which of the two makes the better quality acoustic guitars?
Any other recommendations?
Answer
Yamaha makes amazing things, electronics, motorcycles with great quality! but...when it comes to guitars? not so much. Fender is the greatest beginner, intermediate, and professional guitars out there that offer different qualities of guitars based on what you are looking for. Fender is a trusted brand. *as a side note. I am a guitar teacher and one of my students brought in a new Yamaha acoustic and the strings popped! imagine that? first day using it! good luck

what is the cheapest, decent capo for a Yamaha acoustic guitar?
Q. I am looking for a cheap, decent guitar capo for my Yamaha Acoustic Guitar.
Answer
Spend $22 and get a Shubb capo:

Any decent capo (like the Kyser quick change) is going to cost around $15 anyway. Spend $7 more and get the Shubb. If you want cheaper, this one is good at $16 (I have one and it works fine):

Don't buy the strap on ones or a cheap spring one. They'll break or be loose and leave your strings buzzing. They also tend to slide around and bend strings as you're putting them on the guitar so your guitar will sound out of tune. I have one of these though and it basically works for $7:

I would absolutely avoid the $2 ones with the plastic tube and elastic strap.
