hey, i wanna start playing the guitar please help?

so i was gunna ask for one for christmas, but ive already got some stuff from my parents so it cant be to expensive haha, could anyone recomend a good acoustic guitar for beginers? :) thanks also a rough guide to starting playing the guitar would be nice (i live in uk so it has to be a uk shop haha)
