Anybody know a good website to get some acoustic instrumental songs; recordings and tabs? i've been looking for a while and can't really find anything. i'm looking for more of a smooth, romantic sound, but i like the bluesey stuff too....

Julian Bream plays Granados & Albeniz is great, not a classical pop album though.

If you mean just any good acoustic music
then try:
Django Reinhardt compilation (vintage gypsy ensemble)
Michael Hedges - Aerial Boundaries (the hendrix of the acoustic guitar)

Affordable acoustic guitars?

I live in Ohio. I am looking for a GOOD, inexpensive acoustic guitar to start playing on but everything seems too much to get on blind commitment alone. Specifically, I have been told Washburn is a good brand. Does anyone know where I can get something that works for me financially and is of decent quality?

is the best for online instrumental purchases. I would suggest looking at epiphones and yamahas. Since it's your first you should spend around 100 or 150 dollars on a nice little starter acoustic. You can always upgrade later if you want to stick with it!

depending on where you are starting from. This is an amazing website! http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/advanced_search.html It has tabs and chords. You may have to do a little digging but you can put in your level and find acoustic songs. I suggest Adele,Coldplay, Jeff Buckly (Halleluja is a good one) or the eagles if your a beginner, Stairway to Heaven if your a little more experienced or maybe Eric Clapton (Tears in Heaven is a good one) If you're into a harder rock style you could mess around with some Green Day or Blink 182.
