Hey, i'm looking for some electric/acoustic guitar tabs. Im not good on guitar so I can't convert piano to guitar or anything like that. The songs im looking for are:

-Beethoven's Virus (was on DDR and other various games)
-Banjo Kazooie - gruntilda's liar (and any others from Banjo Kazooie appreciated)

Bit of an odd question lol, but I can't find anything and would love to play. Thanks.

Answer
Yes Ultimate-Guitar.com is possibly the best guitar tab site but they do not always have every tab that you want to learn. here are some other sites that might have the tab you are looking for:
911tabs.com
guitaretab.com
tabcrawler.com

Does anyone know the guitar chords for Walking Away from the Edge by Journey off the Red 13 album?

Emilee

I need the acoustic guitar tab or if you know the chords it would be really helpful if you posted them. I don't want the electric guitar part that Neal Schon plays. Thanks so much!!

Can you get tabs for a song that you know was originally electric and play it on a acoustic guitar? (and vice versa)

Answer
Acoustic guitar tabs are written so you can play alone with just one guitar. Sometimes these are the same as electric guitar tabs.

Electric guitar tabs often imply that the tab is intended for playing within a band and so it may not sound so good on its own without support from drums and bass.

Just listen to the guitar in an acoustic track as opposed to a full band track. The acoustic guitar will fill in the gaps where the electric is not playing.

How Do you read guitar tabs / notes?

DJ anime

I've been wanting a guitar ever since I was 6 and Today I'm going to buy one, but I've been looking at tutorials and I still don't know how to read acoustic guitar tabs / notes? Any suggestions or website links or anythink that would help me :) thanks

Answer
Guitar tabs are pretty straight forward, all the horizontal lines represents one string. As there are six strings, there are six lines. The bottom line represents the bottom string (the thickest one), the line above represents the fifth string, the one above that the fourth, and so on. The numbers represent what fret to play.

------------------------------| <represents top string
------------------------------|
------------------------------|
------------------------3----| < the number represents what fret to play on the string on which
-------------------------------| it is located
------------------------------| < represents bottom string

I don't have the skill to teach you to read music, but there's heaps of stuff online. Good luck :)
