Best Brand of Acoustic Guitar?

Xxyerr.cut

I want to buy an accoustic guitar for my boyfriend, as a surprise birthday present, so obviously, I can't ask him what kind he wants.

We were talking one day, and he said, he really wanted an acoustic guitar, but when I asked him what brand, out of curiosity, he said, 'Just an acoustic guitar...'

He's not a beginner, he's been playing electric guitar for many years now.
His genera is along the lines of, 'punk rock,' meaning, basically, Blink 182 style.

I want to get a really good guitar, between $250 and $550, but I'm not quite sure what BRAND.

I have asked some band members, and have gotten mostly Ibanez and Epiphone, among many others.

What's your opinion on the best brand of acoustic guitar ?

Answer
Martin makes a revered, quality acoustic guitar.

Epiphones are made by Gibson, they are affordable, but nice acoustic guitars.

You should be able to get an excellent acoustic guitar in the price range you mentioned.

Answer
If you want you can buy an Orange amp, they have a acoustic sound.
if you want an acoustic guitar i would get a Crestwood it is a pretty good guitar even though they are a little closer to beginner guitars. Or you could get a Epiphone, i will leave you the links.

What's a good beginner song for acoustic guitar?

I am trying to play guitar. To be honest, I don't even know how to play. All I want to know is a great song for a beginner guitar player. Also, include a tab so it will be easier to learn. Thanks.

Answer
Hi,

So you want to play the guitar, the best thing you can do is practice learning a new song. However, it can be hard to find easy guitar songs for beginners when youâre first starting because you donât know which songs are easy to learn on guitar and which ones arenât.

Hereâs a collection of some easy guitar songs for beginners that you can pick up right away when you are learning how to play the guitar.

1.) Take Me Home, Country Roads by John Denver
2.) Free Falling by Tom Petty
3.) Yellow by Coldplay
4.) Come On Get Higher by Matt Nathanson
5.) Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynard

You can check out the tabs @ ultimate-guitar.com

Hope this will help you, if you have some questions about easy songs to be played, don't hesitate to contact me,,,
