i really want to buy an acoustic guitar. ive never played, i don't know how to. so what would be a good guitar for beginners? i want something that isn't toooo expensive, and something just to learn and get the hang of on. im probably gonna teach myself, i don't know yet. thanks!

Best to take someone with you who is already into guitar playing when looking for a guitar. And at a music store, without having to shop and buy something off the Internet that you can't try out physically.
Brands to look for that are good makers and priced right: Alvarez; Dean; Epiphone; Ibanez; Johnson; Jasmine (Takamine); Saegull; Washburn; and Yamaha.
Expect to find prices from: $150-$500. Depends upon the top material and other cosmetics.
Look for those with a solid top if all possible, as this feature is best for the sound volume and real resonance of any guitar made. You will discover that is it worth the added expense in the long run to enjoy its tonal quality. But several 'veneer' tops can pass its worth if it is just ot get you started into playing.
The important thing is the neck being the most comfortable for you.
Think of as well, a classical guitar as they have the nylon strings which may be even more comfortable for your fingertips, but have thicker necks and wider fingerboards. These are great to start out for the simple fact that they will force such exercise to really prepare your hand and grip to play most anything else in the future.

i encourage you not that buy that.
first buy a pure acoustic guitar for 100$.
play around with it. take lessons. see
if you like it.
then in a year.. buy the acoustic-electric one.
trust me. do not buy something expensive... at first IF you've never had a guitar before.
