question about the acoustic guitar and tabs?

i got some free lessons with my guitar but they only told me the basics and half of it i just forget. but anyways, i tried learning some tabs like the basic titanic i learned in middle school but they are SO confusing and aren't even like the tabs i learned back then, does anyone know how to read them? i watched some videos of people playing my heart will go on from titanic and it sounds so good and i want to be able to play like that, but i probably wont be able to get more guitar lessons for a while.

beginner at acoustic guitar?

Q. i want to find the easiest way to learn cause i get frustrated so easily but i always wanted to learn this so i don't want to give up. i don't want to learn how to read sheet music, is that okay? can i learn by chords or tabs? what do you recommend? please help.
BUT SOME OF THE CORDS I TRIED LEARNING THERE ARE MINOR MAJOR AND SOMETHIGN WITH A 5 OR 6 I THINK

If you get frustrated too easy, then you won't like my answer. There is no easiest way. It takes a lot of time, and dedication to learn how to play a guitar. It's going to take quite some time just to condition your fingers so you're not complaining that your fingers hurt. Anyone can make noise on a guitar. It takes an artist to play it. Been playing since the 60s.
