Usually acoustic guitars have one strap peg on the bottom but mine has none. Is it ok to attach one to the bottom the same way as you would with the other?

Answer
I'm assuming you have a classical guitar. There are special straps for classical guitars, like this one:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0007WPHC2/ref=asc_df_B0007WPHC2994674?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&tag=googlecom09c9-20&linkCode=asn&creative=380341&creativeASIN=B0007WPHC2

Classical guitars are meant to be played sitting down so they never come with an end pin, much less a strap button on the neck. I suppose you could attach them assuming there's an end block inside the guitar at the bottom. The other one attaches to the heel of the neck on the treble side.

Keep in mind that in the process of doing this you will be substantially lowering the resale value of your guitar.

How do you tie a guitar strap onto an acoustic guitar with one peg?

So I have an acoustic guitar with only one peg/nut thing for the guitar strap. I have a guitar strap with two holes and one string. How/where do you tie the string. Please give a BUNCH of details and pics if you have any!!!!

Answer
I recommend installing a strap button on your guitar. I know a lot of people tie their straps to the headstock but it's not a really good idea. Mostly because the guitar will have a tendency to slide around on you and it's just really uncomfortable. You can get a strap button at your local music shop for just 2 or 3 bucks. If your good with simple tools they're not too hard to install. Some music shops will even do it for you if you ask.
