I like the banjo and got into it but now i'm wondering if I should take up the acoustic guitar.Cheaper,more song variety,ect. What do y'all think is better?

I would definitely go for the acoustic guitar, for most of the reasons that you stated.

But more than that, it's what I love to play.

If you are impartial, then why not learn both?
