Hello all, I recently purchased an acoustic guitar and am finally fulfilling a lifelong dream of learning how to play. I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good online sites that offer free and organized lessons for a beginner.

Also if anybody has any tips for someone like me who is just starting that would be great, I accept any and all help! Thanks!

I agree with OU812, lessons are a better choice and getting someone to help you learn that is actually there with you, will be a bigger benefit, than online. By having someone instruct you on a personal level they can try to correct any mistakes, that you make. This is something that online lessons can't truly help you with.

Youtube, there are plenty of lessons from any genre you can think of. Also, try going to like Gibson's site or any of the other big guitar maker websites, they have free lessons. Even Guitar Center's website has them.
